Fitness Professional

Hema is a rehab trainer, yoga therapist, and nutrition coach who has spent more than 20 years helping women over 50 get out of pain, rebuild confidence in movement, and stop burning themselves out trying to do everything “right.”

Through her work at Shanti Fitness, Hema helps clients cut through the overload of health advice and get back to the basics that actually matter: understanding their bodies, building strength safely, calming an overworked nervous system, and creating routines they can keep doing in real life. Her approach brings together therapeutic exercise, yoga therapy, stress management, and practical nutrition—without fads, extremes, or guilt.

She is also the author of a book on stress (Professional Woman's Guide to Handling Stress) and brings a clear message to every conversation: pain, fatigue, and burnout are not personal failures. Often, they are signs that the body has been carrying too much for too long. Hema helps people find a simpler, more realistic way forward.
