Live Healthy, Be Happy!

Dr. Noushin

Hart

Dr. Noushin Izadifar Hart is a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist whose work bridges conventional
medicine with trauma-informed, holistic, and preventive approaches to health and well-being. She
began her medical education in Iran, graduating in 1986, and practiced as a general practitioner before
relocating to the United States in 1994. She completed her internship at the Medical College of
Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, followed by a residency in Radiation Oncology at Washington University
in St. Louis. For more than three decades, she has served patients across the United States with a
steadfast commitment to excellence, advocacy, and compassionate care.
Throughout her career, Dr. Hart has been deeply committed to helping individuals understand their
bodies, reduce fear around illness, and actively participate in their health. Her clinical experience led
her to recognize that many physical symptoms and chronic conditions are influenced by long-standing
emotional stress, nervous system dysregulation, and lifestyle factors that are often overlooked in
conventional medical settings.
A growing body of scientific research has demonstrated a strong association between adverse
childhood experiences and the development of serious chronic illnesses later in life, including
cardiovascular disease, autoimmune conditions, metabolic disorders, and cancer. Early-life trauma can
dysregulate the stress response system, alter immune and inflammatory pathways, and increase
vulnerability to disease across the lifespan. Dr. Hart integrates this well-established science into her
work, addressing both early and later-life experiences as part of a comprehensive approach to health
and prevention.
While trained in oncology, Dr. Hart’s work is intentionally designed for the general population. She
supports individuals seeking to optimize health, resilience, and vitality, as well as those recovering from
illness or prolonged stress. Cancer survivors remain an important subgroup of her practice, benefiting
from the same trauma-informed, nervous-system–centered approach that serves her broader client
base.
Central to Dr. Hart’s philosophy is the belief that optimal health care must address the whole
person—mind, body, nervous system, and spirit. Chronic stress and unresolved emotional patterns can
influence immune function, inflammation, hormonal balance, and overall resilience. By addressing
these root contributors, individuals can experience not only symptom relief but also greater clarity,
adaptability, and long-term well-being.

Make Anything Possible, Even Healing (EP 112)

Dr. Noushin Hart opens up about how trauma changed everything she believed about healing, cancer care, and what patients really need. She talks straight about the limits of Western medicine, the power of mindset, and why the whole person matters, not just the diagnosis.
